Chris Healy, Founder and CEO of tinybriefcase
“There needs to be a better way to grow a small business.”

I started Tiny Briefcase because I wanted to make the lives of small business owners better.

During the last 15 years, I’ve worked for large multi-national companies, started my own businesses, and worked with other startups. I’ve learned that small businesses are started by amazing people that are passionate about what they do but far too often are not afforded with the tools that they need to be successful.

I grew up in Toronto, attended the University of Guelph and then went overseas.  I completed an MBA from the IESE Business School in Spain, one of the top ranked business programs in the world. At IESE, I interned with management consulting firm Cluster Consulting (now Diamond Management Consultants), the lead consultant to many of the world’s telecom companies.

When I graduated, I co-founded the country’s first wireless Internet provider, Kubi Wireless. Kubi is still a thriving business today and is one of Spain’s leading providers of public internet access.

When I returned to Canada to launch my management consulting practice, I focused on smaller organizations. I wanted to have better tools to manage small organizations and trained under the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the Canadian Association of Management Consultants.

At Tiny Briefcase, I chart the overall direction of the company and manage client projects.  I’m really excited about helping companies optimize their processes and finances to ensure that they continue to grow.
