Why should I change how my business runs

Does it matter how long I’ve been in business?

A: Nope.  Tiny Briefcase works with companies that are just getting started or have been in business for 40 years.

Does it matter how small my business is?

A:  Our packages are geared toward small and medium sized businesses with less than 50 employees, but we’ve helped companies of all sizes.  Our experience across multiple industries and sectors gives us the tools to rapidly identify the most urgent issues facing our clients, no matter how complex the product or market.

I don’t know much about technology…

A: You’re not alone.  Like many other business owners, you’ve turned an ability in one area into a business.  You may not be as comfortable with other things outside of your expertise.  That’s okay!  Tiny Briefcase packages are designed to be simple.  We love to use products and services that are easy to use and don’t require you to be a techno-wizard.

I just did my website last year?

What is required of me in the process?

A: At the beginning we will meet and discuss the current state of your business and your goals.  You’ll provide us with your vision and we will make it happen with one of our simple packages. After that you can constantly communicate new ideas and requirements with us thorough your own company project portal.  The only requirement is that you are open to new ideas, tools, and processes along the way.

Will my information be kept confidential?

A: Of Course.  All information that we capture about your business will never be shared with anyone unless you’ve agreed to it.

What is the turnaround time?

A: It depends on the package that you choose.  For most companies choosing the Brand Makeover package we can deliver the finished product in 2-3 weeks.  Other packages with more complex requirements could take a month to get up and running.

How will I assign new tasks to Tiny Briefcase?

A: Through your very own project portal.  It’s a simple online page that holds all the information relating to your project such as tasks, documents, contacts, brainstorms, and more.

What if I don’t like the logo / website / marketing material you designed?

A:  We work very hard at the start to understand your vision and make sure that doesn’t happen.  You’ll always be given options when using Tiny Briefcase for graphic design tasks and we include a certain number of editing rounds to make sure that we get it right.

Will I have control over the process?

A: Yes!  You’ll be able to keep tabs on the entire process and provide feedback at anytime.  We work for you and our job is to help you reach your goals.  We welcome your participation in the process.

What kind of tasks can I give to Tiny Briefcase as part of my monthly hours allowance?

A: It depends on your package.  We’ve included things like website content or design changes, print material design, technology customization, and more.  If you are looking for something that’s not listed in your package, you can always let us know and we’d be happy to discuss it.

How does working with Tiny Briefcase save me money?

A: Traditional marketing firms deliver great work but are designed to deal with larger customers with larger budgets. Smaller firms typically specialize in just one area and are not equipped to develop marketing strategy for an entire business.  Tiny Briefcase helps you reach your business goals by offering simple and affordable packages that can transform your entire business. Also, compared to hiring a part or full-time marketing person, we’re much less expensive.

What is the $750 setup fee for?

A: The setup fee covers an initial evaluation of your business so that we can best serve your needs, design concepts, and any applicable software licences. By fully understanding your business from the start, we are able to deliver results faster, more accurately, and with bigger impact.

Why should I pay monthly instead of hiring a developer once?

A: Tiny Briefcase is your on-demand business team.  We look at businesses as living things, constantly evolving as the environment around them changes.  Business needs fluctuate from day to day, month to month.  For example, what if you a competitor starts a new promotion that you need to respond to?  By having a service like Tiny Briefcase at your disposal, you’re better able to respond to these events.

What if I know a guy…?

A: Most small business owners have connections to family, friends, and other people that do similar things that Tiny Briefcase does.  That’s okay. But we bring over 30 combined years of experience developing marketing, financial, and technology solutions for small businesses.  Can your ‘guy’ say that?

Do you have a payment plan?

A: Of Course.  Each package we offer can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually.  Check out our packages for details.

What kind of payment methods can I use?

A: Setup fees can be paid credit card or company cheque at our first meeting.  For payment installments we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Can I cancel at any time?

A: Each Tiny Briefcase Package is a twelve month commitment on your part, meaning that you have access to our services for twelve months from the time of enrollment.  You can cancel anytime by simple paying the remaining balance on your package.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?

A: Yes.  If you’d like to upgrade, you can at any time, you simply pay the new monthly fee for the package you choose and your commitment date is adjusted to twelve months from the date of the change.  Unfortunately Tiny Briefcase is unable to issue credits if you wish to downgrade your package but we will work to ensure that you pay for only the service that you will use so downgrading shouldn’t be necessary.

Does Tiny Briefcase guarantee their work?

A: Yes.  Bug fixes for any website or software we develop for you is included in your package.  For graphics work, we’ll ensure designs meet any print requirements that you give us.

A: No.  We’re not pushing our own technology or products. Tiny Briefcase uses industry standard tools and technologies to provide your business with a custom solution.  This means that we take the best and make it work for you.

Will My Financial Data be protected?

A: Yes.  Anytime that we work with a companies financial data we ensure strict compliance to all security and confidentiality regulations.  We also ensure that data is backed up just in case.
